Westlawn Cemetery (burials to April 12, 2007)

Westlawn Cemetery is an all-Jewish cemetery. The cemetery covers 72 acres and roughly 48,000 people are buried there. It was founded on 8 April 1937. Visit Westlawn Cemetery for more information.

Westlawn was the site of gravestone desecration in January 2008. At least 57 tombstones were defaced with anti-Semitic slogans. JGSI has been in contact with the cemetery management who has not been able to locate next of kin for some of the tombstones that were desecrated.
