JGSI board member Mike Karsen will speak about “Chicago Jewish Orphanages including the Marks Nathan Home” on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025, at 7 p.m. CST.

Mike will present an overview of the history of Jewish orphanages in Chicago in this JGSI members-only online discussion. He will summarize the holdings on the Marks Nathan Home and how to search them on the JGSI Names Database.

Mike Karsen is a past president of JGSI and the originator of JGSI’s databases.
